Keeno’s Beef Jerky officially opened in the spring of 2013. They sell numerous food products including: various pickled products, Sweet Fire Jalapeños, Brisket Slather, Ranch House Steak Sauce, Merlot Steak Sauce, Red Pepper Jelly, Dilled Pickles, Texas Margarita Bar Chocolate…and of course, tons and tons of flavorful beef jerky! They have plenty of exotic beef jerky flavors available as well. They were the 2013 winners of IdeaWF’s “Expansion-GROW” category. In addition, Keeno’s Jerky, “Kickin’ T-Bone” took the Beef Division honors in the 5th Annual Peppers and More World Jerky Contest. Definitely not a surprise with their tasty jerky flavors! Not only are they a booming business, they also give back to the community. A tithe of 10% of all proceeds goes to Christian youth ministries. So far, they have raised $50,000 for various youth ministries! Gary has two words of wisdom to future entrepreneurs; “Make sure it is something you are passionate about & Make sure it is something you have talked to GOD about.” Hearing that so many people come in the store and tell him that they are addicted to his jerky is one of the things that make him happiest about his business.
